Take-home whitening trays:
You can also ask your dentist for our at-home whitening trays. Using a mold we take of your mouth, our labs will craft you custom-fit trays that sit perfectly in your mouth. Then, once your kit is ready, we will teach you exactly how to apply the bleaching solution provided and other techniques to ensure you get maximum results. You will wear your trays for 30 minutes each day until you get the results you want. After your treatment is complete, you’ll notice that your smile is 3 to 5 shades whiter!

Over-the-counter whitening kits:
This method uses gel-covered strips that you place over your teeth. The peroxide used to bleach your teeth is not as strong as professional whiteners, and you won’t see as incredible a difference. Depending on the brand, these strips are worn between 30 minutes to an hour each day for several days or weeks. It’s especially crucial that you read the directions for your kit—wearing your strips too long or too often can lead to irritable or sensitive gums and teeth.

It’s important to consider your options when choosing the right brightening method for you. Over-the-counter teeth whitening products are cheaper and, if price is the only factor, remember that most often, you get what you pay for.
